211 Information Session Online

Join Lini Jacob, Chief Information and Referral Officer for 2-1-1 Hudson Valley to learn about this statewide service that offers health and human services information, referrals, assessments and crisis support to help community members find the assistance they need. In this session we will explore the types of community services available through this platform, how to connect patrons to this service, and how to use the website to find important community resources to help your patrons and learn more about the resources available within your community.

211 contact centers are staffed by nationally certified Community Resource Specialist who can assist those seeking help from community resources using a database of verified resources. 211 is an information and referral service that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year offering translation services in more than 200 languages.

This session is for member library staff of all levels. This will earn attendees 1 credit unit. This does not qualify for Trustee Education.  This session will adhere to RCLS's Code of Conduct Policy.
