Have questions about patron confidentiality? Want to ensure your library is doing everything in its power to support it? Join Michael Kirby, a Law for Librarians fellow, for a privacy audit workshop. Participants will receive individualized help with drafting/reworking their library's privacy policy statements, all while learning more about the importance of privacy for both patrons and the profession in general.

He received his MLS from Queens College, the City University of New York and was a 2022 ALA Emerging Leader. He served as a Director-at-Large for the Intellectual Freedom Round Table, 2022-2024.

The policies will be placed in a shared folder for attendees to review. Library staff and trustees will receive 1.5 hours of continuing education credits for this session.
