Summer Reading: From kids to adults, everyone has their own spin on what it is and what it means to them. Most people know it is "a thing libraries do" and that it is "fun" or a "nice way to keep kids busy". This education session aims to help you better understand why summer reading programs are so important, what valuable impact it has on children's literacy rates and how you can help spread the word in your communities about this vital library service.
This session will not be recorded. Attendees will receive 1 hour of Trustee Education credit. Click here to access the RCLS Code of Conduct
