Please join Geoffrey Kirkpatrick, the Director of Bethlehem Public Library in Delmar, NY. He is a former NYLA President and was a member of the NYLA Civil Service Task Force/Committee for more than a decade. During this information session, he will be discussing how he has used New York Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement Statewide (NYHELPS) program in his library and county. Library directors and human resources managers who work within the civil service system will find out how to start utilizing the program within their specific counties. Participants will earn 1.5 hours of CE credit. This does not qualify for Trustee Education. Participants will follow the RCLS Code of Conduct.
